Happy Valentines day everyone!

Buying new underwear for myself around Valentines day is kind of a tradition for me, regardless of whether I wear it for anyone, new undies make me feel good and I think it's important to practice lots of self love on Valentines day, after all Valentines day isn't just for couples but an opportunity to show everyone in your life how much you love and appreciate them and that includes you too!



Black underwear is my go to for feeling my absolute best, if I'm ever feeling down about myself I stick on some pretty knickers and some stockings and it helps remind me that I'm a fox and that I'm sexy and strong and fierce and shouldn't let my insecurities overwhelm me. It has to be said that when I was younger I never ever thought I could be seen as sexy, I never thought in a million years that I would be able to fit into lingerie like this, let alone look good in it.

I also feel it's important to mention that generally my body type isn't represented in the media, even in the plus size community, the vast majority of representation goes to the girls with gorgeous hourglass and pear shaped bodies. I have a none existent waist and a fat back and I hardly ever see girls like me rocking lingerie like this. I don't have 'all the curves in all the right places' and that's okay! All bodies are good bodies and we all deserve to feel sexy on Valentines day.

Now to actually talk about this beautiful lingerie! The bra and suspender belt are from Pour Moi which is one of my absolute favourite brands for buying naughty lingerie. Their pieces are always really chic and sexy which I think is sometimes hard to come across in plus sizes. Their bras go up to a UK size 44J and their knickers go up to a UK size 22.

When I saw this suspender belt I was so excited, I've always wanted a long line one but never been able to find one that fit properly. This one is a size XXL and other than rolling down a little it fits perfectly and is also really comfy. The bra is a size 40G and I'm honestly just in love with the whole design, the little straps are right up my street and I'm just so happy with the way it looks and fits.

Lastly I bought the beautiful stockings and knickers from Ann Summers which is undoubtedly my favourite place to buy naughty knickers and their stockings are a staple in my lingerie drawer. Some of my favourite knickers are from their 'erotic' section which only goes up to a size XL but a lot of their stuff is quite stretchy and involves lots of straps and things and I've found a lot of their large sizes fit me so it's definitely worth a try if you've never considered Ann Summers undies before. Same again with their stockings, they go up to a size XXL and they're just so beautiful and of a really high quality, I wear a size XL and I'm 5'8 and they go right up to the tops of my thighs so I'd recommend giving them a try if you're quite tall.
